It felt so good to be back in NYC for a week in the summer. This time I stayed in SoHo at The Dominick, and for the first time in a very long time I missed being in New York City. I LOVE SoHo, and if I ever move back it will probably be one of the first places I’ll look to live. The restaurants, the shopping, and the convenient location are just naming a few reasons why I could call SoHo home quickly. The vibe is just different than what I’ve become used to in Los Angeles. Gritty, and real, are two of my best words to describe what I miss about New York.
Due to the heat I wanted to style a very easy breezy look. Something that was still city appropriate but could translate into vacation mode real quick. I found these amazing wide leg trousers from Asos and I paired it with one of my favorite Re/done tees, and my favorite sneaks at the moment, Common Projects.
There’s something about an all white look that I love for summer, so it’s no surprise I’ve been styling a lot of it recently. All white can sometimes be intimidating to style so a tip I stick to is making sure the tones match.
This gives a more streamline look than something that was just thrown together mismatched. Stay tuned for more styling and travel tips.
