Palm Springs is not just a desert for hosting Coachella every April, there are so many cool things this desert resort city has to offer. This was my first time in Palm Springs and it’s quickly become one of my new favorite getaway spots.
To me Palm Springs was the equivalent to The Hamptons when I lived in New York. It’s about two hours from LA (a quick drive, and there’s outlets on the way up so it makes the trip feel shorter).
We stayed at The Parker Hotel, which I fell in love with. For a small boutique hotel there is a lot to do on the property. It feels like you’re at an adult sleep away camp, with two pools, a spa, two outdoor bars, a bocce court, and fire pit, there is plenty to keep you occupied.
Its a super sleepy city, so be prepared to relax. Lounging around by a pool soaking in some sun is defiantly your best bet here. But if your looking for some activities here are some of the places we explored.
