One of the highlights of my whole cross-country move was without a doubt hiking the Tent Rocks.
Hiking through The Tent Rocks feels like you’re walking through massive open caves, there defiantly was a magical element when hiking this trail.
Even in early September the trail was cool because of the massive rocks shading you from the sun. It wasn’t too challenging of a hike, but at times the path would narrow to only about one foot’s width. (If you get claustrophobic this may not be your thing).
I found it interesting to read that the rock formations are a result of water and wind effects over time. It was crazy to see how perfectly round and smooth each giant rock mass was, it almost didn’t look natural.
